"The interface is quite simple and easy to work with" says Softpedia after taking HelpNDoc for a test drive. These experts liked how easy it was to create effective documentation. "The table of contents ...is the most important part of the document because it guides the user through the entire documentation. As such, HelpNDoc is flexible ...and permits arranging the entries exactly as needed: rename, move into a different category or change its position, add an icon, make it point to an external URL, display a header or footer, etc."
We are extremely proud to report that Visual Studio Magazine readers voted for HelpNDoc to receive its second Bronze Award in a row in the Help Authoring category. "This year, more than 400 products across 28 categories were voted on" writes Visual Studio Magazine's author Keith Ward, and "more than 500 of you responded, telling us what tools you rely on day-to-day to get your job done"

We are glad to announce the immediate availability of HelpNDoc 3.9.1 which fixes the problem some were experiencing when starting HelpNDoc, saying that a control had no parent window. We also took this opportunity to update the default CHM template to provide a way to customize the base color as it is already possible to do with the default HTML template. This minor update also fixes a rare problem with the HTML search engine which could do infinite loops and another issue where the ePub generator couldn't correctly generate the eBook's cover picture.
